I Made These Stuffed Pizza Skulls For Dia De Los Muertos / Day Of The Dead Halloween

Pizza toppings are stuffed into a piece of pizza dough in a skull mold and baked to get this Stuffed skull pizza

Ingredients

Pizza dough:
Active yeast 7 Gram
Sugar 1 Teaspoon
Warm water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Flour 2 Tablespoon (use as required)
Stuffing:
Shredded cheese 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Pepperoni slices 18
Pizza sauce 12 Tablespoon
Mushrooms 12

Directions

MAKING:

1. To make the pizza dough first add sugar and half of the warm water and allow the yeast to get frothy in 10 mins

2. If using a stand mixer add the flour, salt and the yeast mixture

3. Add the Olive Oil

4. Add the other half of warm water in the yeast bowl and add that in too and knead scraping the bowl in between

5. If kneading by hand, knead at least for 10 minutes

6. Allow to rise in a warm place for at least 30 mins till the dough doubles in size

7. Remove the dough on a kneading surface, add more flour as it will be sticky and knead for a few minutes

8. Roll out till it forms a rectangle and divide into 6 pieces

9. Lay each piece on top of the skull cavity - you can find this pan at amazon.ca/shop/kravings

10. Add 1/4 cup of cheese at the bottom, about 3 slices pepperoni, 2 tbsps pizza sauce, 2 slices mushrooms, and another 1/4 cup of cheese before sealing

11. Repeat this with the other 5 skulls

12. Bake in a preheated over at 350 for 30 mins

13. Allow to cool before removing
