Lemon Pudding Cake So Great - You'll eat The Whole Pan

Welcome Friends! Welcome back to the kitchen today I'm going make a recipe that julie and I call a sauce 'n' cake recipe. Most people would probably call it a pudding cake recipe... No matter what it's called, this one is a Lemon Sauce Pudding Cake Recipe.


Butter 60 Milliliter (1/4 cup)
Sugar 250 Milliliter (1 cup)
Eggs 3 (separated)
Lemon 1 (zest and juice)
All purpose flour 85 Milliliter (1/3 cup)
Salt 2 Milliliter (1/2 tsp)
Milk 250 Milliliter (1 cup)



1. Preheat oven to 180ºC (350ºF).


2. Grease an 8x8 baking dish, and a bain marie for baking.

3. Cream together the butter and ¾ of the sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Beat in the egg yolks, and the lemon zest.

5. Mix in the flour, salt, milk and lemon juice.

6. Whip the reserved egg whites, slowly adding the reserved sugar, until smooth and glossy.

7. Vigorously stir 1/3 of the whipped egg whites into the butter flour batter.

8.Slowly fold in the remaining egg whites.

9. Transfer the batter to the baking dish and fill the bain marie with hot water.

10. Bake for 30 -35 minutes.
