Welcome Friends! Welcome back to the kitchen today we're going to make a soup recipe. A very simple soup that relies on very simple ingredients: Beans and Bacon.
|Diced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Diced carrot||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm)|
|Dried oregano||1 Teaspoon|
|Dried chipotle peppers||2 Teaspoon|
|Broth||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Stewed tomatoes||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Canned beans||1080 Milliliter|
1. In Dutch oven or soup pot, cook bacon over until fat is rendered and bacon is crisp.
2. Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic; cook until onion is softened.
3. Add oregano, salt, black pepper and dried chipotle, stir in.
4. Stir in beans, tomatoes, and broth; reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook for 30 - 60 minutes
