Okra is a vegetable you either love or love to hate. I happen to love the taste of okra, especially when its fried. Enjoy

Heavy cream | 1 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Pepper | To Taste | |
Keto breading: | ||
Protein powder | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Grated parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Garlic powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Dipping sauce: | ||
Mayo | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
No sugar added ketchup | 1 Tablespoon | |
Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Sambal oelek chili paste | 2 Teaspoon | |
Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Smoked paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Sugar free sweetener | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING:
1. Whisk the eggs and combine with the heavy cream, salt and pepper.
2. Pour this egg mixture over the okra pieces and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
3. Mix all the ingredients for the keto breading. Add the mixture to a freezer bag, then combine with all the okra pieces.
4. Shake the pieces to coat each piece evenly.
5. Fry the pieces for about 3-4 minutes. Remove and lay on a paper towel to absorb any extra oil. Sprinkle on some sea salt.
SERVING:
6. Serve with dipping sauce.
Tip: Rinse the okra pieces first before cutting into pieces. The liquid that makes okra feel slimy comes out when you cut the okra. So rinse and pat dry or air dry before cutting.
