As part of my quest to eat healthier, Ive devised a few recipes, this is one of them. This Tandoori Fish with a warm bean salad is delicious as dinner as well packs perfectly for lunch.
Salmon filets | 2 (4 oz or 113 gms) | |
Tandoori masala | 1 Tablespoon | |
Ginger garlic paste | 2 Teaspoon | |
Yogurt | 2 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Pepper | To Taste | |
Mustard oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Finely diced onion | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Minced garlic | 1 Teaspoon | |
Minced green chili | 1 Teaspoon | |
Chilli powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Cumin powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Canned mixed beans | 540 Milliliter (about 2 cups) | |
Lime juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Cherry tomatoes | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Chopped coriander | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) |
MAKING:
1. Marinate the fish with the tandoori masala, ginger and garlic paste, yogurt, salt & pepper to tasteIn a saute pan add the mustard oilSaute the onion, garlic, green chilli, chilli and cumin powderAdd the beans, salt to taste and allow the flavours to blendCook the fish on both sides and once cooked all the way.
2. Once the beans are cool, add a squeeze of lime juice, the tomatoes and the coriander.
SERVING:
3. Serve the fish with the warm salad.
