Froot Loops Cereal Milk Ice Cream Welcome Friends! Welcome to another ice cream recipe episode have you ever had the cereal milk ice cream from Momofuku? If you have you'll know what I'm talking about if you haven't it's absolutely wonderful. I was reminded of it a couple of weeks ago, Jules and I stopped in to a place that we normally go to and they had their own version on the menu. So I looked up the ice cream recipe online Momofuku has published it, it's a Christina Tosi recipe for Momofuku Milk Bar and it's a great recipe. it uses all kinds of things to make sure that you get a really nice creamy texture. I wondered if we could simplify it and use a couple of methods that people have already in their kitchen.
|35 % whipping cream/Heavy cream||500 Milliliter (2 cups)|
|Apple cider vinegar||30 Milliliter (or similar about 2 tbsp)|
|Cereal||250 Milliliter (1 cup, Froot Loops or your favorite)|
|Milk||250 Milliliter (1 cup)|
|Canned sweetened condensed milk||300 Milliliter (1 can)|
1. In a large mixing jug lightly whisk together the vinegar and cream.
2. In a blender liquefy the cereal into the milk.
3. Pass the milk mixture through a fine-mesh strainer and whisk into the cream mixture. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, and then freeze according to your ice cream makers instructions.
4. Serve and enjoy!
