Welcome Friends! If you've been watching our pizza of the week recipe series you'll know that I mostly use just crushed Tomatoes instead of using pizza sauce but there are a couple of kinds of pizzas where pizza sauce is necessary. One of them is the Detroit deep-dish pizza recipe.
Canned crushed tomatoes | 796 Milliliter (1 can of 28 oz) | |
Canned whole tomatoes | 398 Milliliter (1 can) | |
Dried oregano | 5 Milliliter (1 tsp) | |
Dried basil | 5 Milliliter (1 tsp) | |
Salt | 2 Milliliter (1/2 tsp) | |
Sugar | 5 Milliliter (1 tsp) | |
Granulated garlic | 5 Milliliter (1 tsp) | |
Onion powder | 15 Milliliter (1 tbsp) | |
Pepper | 2 Milliliter (1/2 tsp) | |
Chilli flakes | 5 Milliliter | |
Fresh chopped basil | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING:
1. Mix everything in a pot and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
SERVING:
2. Spread on the Pizza and enjoy!
