How To Make Corned Beef Hash Recipe

Corned Beef Hash Recipe / Method. Not so much a Corned Beef Hash recipe as it is a Corned Beef Hash method. In general this is often made with leftover corned beef and boiled potatoes - so we roughly follow a 1:1:1 ratio of corned beef, potato, and onion. You could add in other stuff if you want - peppers, carrots, celery, etc.

1. You will need essentially equal-dish amounts of corned beef, potato, and onion.

2. In a heavy frying pan over medium heat, melt 1 Tbsp of butter and add the onion.

3. Cook onion until translucent and just starting to brown.

4. Add in diced potato and fry until potato starts to brown.

5. Add more butter if needed.

6. Dice the cooked corned beef.

7. Add the diced corned beef to the pan and stir to incorporate.

8. Pat into an even layer and season with pepper, mustard, and paprika to taste.

9. Allow to fry undisturbed until the bottom is golden brown.

10. Turn and stir, then pat into an even layer and check the seasoning.

11. Add pepper, mustard, and paprika if needed.

12. Cook until the bottom is golden brown.


13. Serve and enjoy!
