Paneer Tikka Masala is a vibrant and exotic Indian curry made of marinated and grilled paneer cubes dunked in a spicy and rich onion tomato based gravy.

Paneer Tikka Masala is a delicious, creamy flavourful dish made my grilling paneer then adding it to a masala gravy. Paneer refers to Indian Cottage Cheese, tikka is a small chunk of grilled food and masala here refers to a spiced gravy.

Ingredients

For marinade:
Yogurt 3 Tablespoon
Garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Lemon 1/2 , juiced
Himalayan black salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Gram flour 1/2 Tablespoon
Grated nutmeg 1 Pinch
Red chilli powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Saffron strands To Taste
Paneer 200 Gram
Onion 1
Capsicum 1 Small
Oil 2 Tablespoon (use as required)
For gravy:
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Pureed onion To Taste
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Tomatoes 4 , pureed
Coriander seed powder 1 Teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Cumin seed powder 1 Teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Water 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Yogurt 3 Tablespoon
Cashew cream 2 Tablespoon
Fenugreek leaves To Taste
Salt To Taste

Directions

MAKING:

1. Let's start with making the Marinate for which add Yogurt in the Bowl with Garlic Paste, Ginger Paste, Lemon Juice, Himalayan Black Salt, Gram Flour, Nutmeg (grated), Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Saffron Strands (crushed).

2. Next, whisk it properly then add Paneer, Onion (diced), Capsicum (diced) now mix it all together properly (as shown in the video).

3. Next, let it rest for 1 hour brfore cooking it. Now after 1 hour heat up the Oil in the Pan then add the Paneer, Capsicum & Onion through the wooden skewer and place them directly in the Pan. Now brush the Oil on the Other side and fry them on all the side. After frying them properly take them out and place it the Plate.

4. In the meantime let's make the gravy for which add Oil in the Pan then add Onion (puree) saute it till te Onion is golden. Next, add Garlic Paste, Ginger Paste, Tomatoes (puree), Coriander Seed Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seed Powder, Garam Masala Powder stir it properly then add Water, Yogurt mix it in nicely.

Next, add all the Paneer, Capsicum & Onions mix it in then add Cashew Cream, Fenugreek Leaves, Salt mix this all properly.
