Quick Chana Dhal - Instant Pot

There are so many ways to make a dhal. The combinations of lentils and spices make every recipe unique. I love Chana dhal but always had to remember to soak it in advance. In the Instant pot you can throw this in without the presoak time and it still turns out amazing! Here are the ingredients and steps to make this recipe!


Oil 2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sliced green chili 2 Tablespoon (1 large green chilli)
Curry leaves 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Diced tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (in total)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Chana dal 1 Cup (16 tbs) , soaked
Chopped coriander 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (for garnish)
