Ginger piece | 1 Inch , chop | |
Ghee | 2 Tablespoon | |
Tomato | 1 , chop | |
Cumin seeds | 1 Tablespoon | |
Asafoetida | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Red chilli powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Coriander seed powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
Lentil/Toor dal | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , boil | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Spinach leaves | 2 Cup (32 tbs) , chop |
MAKING:
1.Heat a pan, add ghee and allow it to heat.
2.Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, onion, chilli, ginger and saute it on high flame till the onions turn translucent.
3.Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, dal, tomatoes, salt and give it a good mix. Add spinach, mix well and let it cook.
SERVING:
4.Serve with rice and enjoy!
