Ive always been intrigued by making homemade bbq sauce. Most folks just grab a bottle at the store, and while there are some really great ones out there, theres something fun about making your own and tweaking it to suit your tastes.
|Ketchup||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Apple cider vinegar||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dill pickle juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Yellow mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1/2 Teaspoon (or more to taste)|
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the ingredients.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
3. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or use as required.
