A classic dish.


Plain flour 185 Gram (plus extra to dust)
Beer 330 Milliliter
Vegetable oil 1 Liter (For deep frying)
Skinless fish fillets 800 Gram (halved into long strips if necessary)
Salt To Taste
Lemon wedges 2
Potato chips 1 Cup (16 tbs) (for serving)
For tarter sauce:
Whole egg mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Lemon rind 1 Tablespoon
Capers 2 Teaspoon , drained (finely chopped)
Gherkins 2 , finely chopped
Chopped flat leaf parsley 2 Tablespoon
