Yam Cottage Pie - Rule Of Yum Recipe

Today we're making Yam Cottage Pie--and it ain't your grandma's version! This recipe is lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and paleo-friendly.

Ingredients

For top layer:
Yams 2 Large
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Almond milk 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Ground cinnamon 1/8 Teaspoon
Goat cheese 4 Tablespoon
Water 2 Liter ((for boiling the yams))
For bottom layer:
Ground beef 2 Pound
Onion 1/2 Large
Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm)
Diced carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Diced rhubarb 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Vegetable broth/Beef stock 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((For reconstitution))
Mushrooms 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , thinly sliced
Fresh sage leaves 3 , slice
Thyme sprigs 8 , finely chopped
Coconut oil 1 Tablespoon
