Today we're making mackerel cakes from Shokugeki No Souma in the first episode of GEEKY YUMS!


Canned mackerel 10 Ounce , mash (1 can)
Eggs 2
Onion 1/2 , finely chopped
Bread crumbs 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Ground black pepper To Taste
For mackerel brine:
Ponzu sauce 3 Tablespoon
Tapioca starch 1/4 Teaspoon
Water 3 Cup (48 tbs) (for soup)
Squid 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (dried, for soup)
Egg 1 , whisk (for soup)
Salt To Taste (for soup)
