Cheesy, creamy scalloped potatoes! One of my FAVORITE side dishes! These scalloped potatoes are not here to play any games! They are as soulful as it gets with all of that comforting cream and cheese. Mercy, yall, they are heavenly. I pair these up with grilled lamb, roasted asparagus, honey rolls and sweet iced tea for an amazing dinner. It even goes great with meatloaf and wellanything really!


Russet potatoes 2 Pound , washed
Butter 3 Tablespoon
Diced white onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Minced garlic 1 Teaspoon
Flour 3 Tablespoon
Chicken broth 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , warm
Half n half 1 Cup (16 tbs) , warm
Heavy whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs) , warm
Shredded cheese 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs) , divided ((((I used a mix of 1 cup sharp cheddar, 1 cup Colby jack, and ½ cup smoked gouda))))
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Smoked paprika 1/4 Teaspoon
Parsley 3/4 Teaspoon
Dry mustard 1/8 Teaspoon (((optional)))
Fresh chives To Taste (((To garnish)))
