|Cold butter||200 Gram|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (or as required)|
|Diced apples||1 Kilogram|
|Orange zest||1/2 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cinnamon powder||1 Teaspoon|
1.Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
2. In a bowl add flour, cold butter, salt, eggs, honey, vanilla essence, water and knead it properly.
3.Then divide the dough in two part, wrap with plastic and refrigerate it for 2 hours.
4.In a pan add Butter, Honey, diced apples, grated orange zest, Juice of Orange, cinnamon let it cook for a while.
5.Take it off the heat and mash them and let it cook.
6.Butter a pie thin and refrigerate it.
7.Roll the dough to a cm thickness and create the base with it.
8.Fill the layer with apple filling.
9.Cut the dough into strips and place it over the pie in a patter and trim off the excess.
10.Keep it in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
11.Let it cool for 10 minutes and then demold it.
12.Serve and enjoy!
