Learn how to make Chicken Tikka Masala, an absolutely amazing dish by Chef Varun Inamdar
For marinade: | ||
Chicken boneless | 250 Gram | |
Yogurt | 50 Gram | |
Red chilli powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Lemon | 1/2 , juiced | |
Mustard oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
For tikka masala: | ||
Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Onions | 2 Medium | |
Garlic | 4 Clove (20 gm) | |
Tomatoes | 3 Large | |
Chopped green chilli | 1 Teaspoon | |
Red chilli powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Garam masala | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Cream | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY:
1.Marinate the chicken thigh and leg pieces with yogurt, red chilli powder, salt, mustard oil and turmeric.
2. Leave it to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
MAKING:
3.To make masala heat the pan with oil then add onions and garlic,once it becomes light golden add tomatoes and cook them well then add the powdered spiced red chilli powder, salt, turmeric and garam masala stir properly and let the spices cook well.
4.Add little bit of water and cook it well.
5.When the masala is ready add it to the grinder and once it cools down run it into smooth paste.
6.Put the chicken pieces into the skewers, heat some oil and put in the chicken tikka.
7.Grind the masala paste and cook it again.
8.Plate the dish by creating a bed of masala and on the top it, keep the skewer of chicken tikka
