Old-Fashioned White Sandwich Bread handmade from scratch! This recipe is so easy and perfect for beginners. The touch of honey and buttermilk adds such a nice layer of depth to the bread, almost reminiscent of a sour dough but not as sweet. Let me warn you though, once you start making your own sandwich bread it may be hard to go back to the store-bought versions.

This bread bakes up with the perfect buttery golden crust that is sightly crisp slightly chewy. The inside is soft and firm, making it great for sandwiches or toast. Pass the apple butter!!
