How To Make Japanese Salad Dressing

Do you love the savory and sweet salad dressing you get at many sushi and teppanyaki steakhouses? You can recreate this wonderful salad dressing at home. Lots of umami flavor can be found in this dressing. It also makes a great dipping sauce for chicken and seafood.

Ingredients

Mayonnaise 1 Cup (16 tbs)
White miso 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Minced garlic 2 Teaspoon (or garlic that has been pressed through a garlic presser)
Seasoned rice vinegar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Rice cooking wine/Mirin 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Soy sauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Peanut oil/Vegetable oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Toasted sesame oil 1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING:

1.Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

SERVING:

2.Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks and use as required.
