Tuvar Totha Or Suki Tuvar Nu Shaak - Dry Pigeon Pea Curry

Tuver na totha is simple, spicy and delicious North Gujarati winter recipe. Dry lentil is used to make this simple recipe.


Oil 1 Teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Chopped onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon (or as per taste)
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon (or as per taste)
Green chilli paste 1 Teaspoon (or as per taste)
Salt To Taste
Chopped tomato 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Coriander cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon (or as per taste)
Pigeon peas 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , soaked
Lime juice 1 Teaspoon
Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon
Besan sev 2 Teaspoon
