Chicken Noodle Soup

Rebecca Brand shows how to make Chicken Noodle soup by scratch, simple ingredients. Use a leftover chicken carcass, or whole chicken, either is fine. I make it with a chicken, just as the basic recipe, but all the quantities of ingredients are the same. It's the same recipe for Chicken Noodle Soup, or Turkey Noodle soup with a leftover turkey. I love turkey leftovers! And Turkey Noodle soup is one of my favorites! All you need is carrots, celery, onion, bay leaf, salt, noodles and that turkey!


Whole chicken 1
Water 8 Cup (128 tbs)
Chopped carrots 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped celery 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped onions 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Bay leaves 2
Salt 1 Tablespoon
Dry noodles 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped chicken 3 Cup (48 tbs) (about 2 lbs)
