2 Dosa Chutneys Recipe - Nariyal And Peanut Chutney For Idli

In this video, we will make 2 types of Dosa and Idli Chutneys, these chutneys or pachadis are very famous as accompaniments for South Indian Delicacies like Dosa, Idly, Vada, Pesarattu, Vada, Bhajji etc.

Ingredients

For the coconut chutney:
Nariyal 1 Medium , dice (peeled)
Chana dal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , puffed
Curry leaves sprig 1
Green chilli 2
Ginger 15 Gram (1/2 inch piece)
Salt To Taste
Cumin 1 Teaspoon
Yogurt 2 Tablespoon
Water 2 Tablespoon
Coriander leaves 1/2 Bunch (50 gm)
For tadka:
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon (sarso)
Urad dal 1/2 Teaspoon
Asafoetida 1 Pinch (hing)
Curry leaves 5
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoon
Whole red chilli 2
For peanut chutney:
Peanut 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (groundnut)
Coconut 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Whole red chilli 6
Garlic 5 Clove (25 gm)
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Tamarind pulp 2 Tablespoon
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
For tadka:
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon (sarso)
Urad dal 1/2 Teaspoon
Whole red chilli 2
Curry leaves 5
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoon
Jaggery 1 Teaspoon
