Tuvar Lilva Methi Bhaji Ni Khichri - Pigeon Peas And Fenugreek Rice Stew

Tuvar Lilva (Pigeon Peas) and Methi ni Bhaji (Fenugreek Leaves) together is my favorite. I love to prepare Tuvar Methi Bhakri, Thepla, Handvo, Sabji and more. By all means if you don't like fenugreek, substitute with other greens like spinach.

Ingredients

Oil 1 Tablespoon
Ghee 1 Tablespoon (clarified butter)
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon (jeera)
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoon (haldi)
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Green chilli paste 1 Teaspoon
Pigeon peas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Fenugreek leaves 1 Bunch (100 gm)
Coriander and cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Rice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
