How To Make Potato Salad

Learn how to make potato salad with this easy video recipe! This traditional potato salad has mayonnaise, mustard, eggs, and a secret ingredient to make it extra tasty.

Ingredients

Russet potatoes 3 Pound , boil
Celery stalks 4
Green onions/Minced white onion 4 , slice (thin or 1/4 cup of alternate ingredient)
Minced dill pickles 2 Tablespoon
Pickle juice 2 Tablespoon
Celery seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Yellow mustard 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Hard boiled eggs 2 , grated
Mayonnaise 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY:

1.Preheat oven to 450F.

MAKING:

2.Place chopped vegetables in the bottom of the bowl and top with potatoes.

3.Stir in pickle juice, celery seed and mustard.

4.Add eggs, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and mix well.

SERVING:

5.Serve and enjoy!

NOTES:

1.An easy, classic potato salad recipe. Tastes best if allowed to sit overnight in the refrigerator.

2.Lacking celery seed, you may use celery salt. Start with 1/2 teaspoon but you may need more. The celery salt will take the place of celery seed and salt. I will tell you that celery seed is preferred, and tastes better in the final dish than celery salt.
