Ground beef | 2 Pound (fresh) | |
Tomato juice | 1 Quart | |
Canned tomato puree | 29 Ounce (1 can) | |
Canned red kidney beans | 15 Ounce , drained (1 can) | |
Canned pinto beans | 15 Ounce , drained (1 can) | |
Onion | 1 Large , chop (about 1 1/2 cups) | |
Diced celery | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Diced green bell pepper | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Chilli powder | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (use less for milder chili) | |
Ground cumin | 1 Teaspoon (use more for real flavor) | |
Garlic powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Ground black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Cayenne pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon |
MAKING:
1.Using either a 6 or 8 quart Instant Pot, use the saute feature to brown the ground beef. Cook the beef until it is 90% or more done. Drain if desired.
2.To the pressure cooker add all remaining ingredients.
3.Cook on the manual high setting for 6 minutes. When the chili is done perform a quick release.
SERVING:
4.Serve immediately.
