How To Make Scalloped Potatoes And Ham

Scalloped potatoes and ham is a great way to use up leftover ham and really help stretch the grocery budget. You can be adventurous and use other types of meats such as smoked sausage.

Ingredients

Butter 2 Teaspoon
Sliced potatoes 2 Pound
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Ham 8 Ounce
Shredded gruyere cheese/Shredded jarlsberg cheese 8 Ounce
Heavy cream 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (heavy cream is full

Directions

GETTING READY:

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

SERVING:

2.Butter a 9 by 13-inch baking dish.

3.Add a layer of sliced potatoes, and then lightly season the potatoes with salt and pepper.

4.Add some of the ham pieces, and a light sprinkling of cheese. Repeat the layers until you run out of potatoes.

5.Pour the heavy cream into the dish, make sure the top layer of the potatoes are covered.

6.You may need to add more cream than listed.

7.Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.

SERVING:

8.Serve immediately.
