Craving something sweet at the end of the night but don't want the guilt? This recipe has been one of my go-to's for years. You can even change the fruit out for different seasons like apple or peach! This delicious dessert is healthy, easy, and fancy enough for guests!
|Ripe pears||2 , halved|
|Ground cinnamon||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Granola||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Greek yogurt||3/4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon zest||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Almond extract||1/4 Teaspoon|
1.Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
2.Add the halved pears onto a sheet tray. Using a spoon scoop out the center where the seeds are.
3.Drizzle the top of the pears with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and sprinkle with your favorite granola.
4.Put them into the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
5.Once cooked, take them out to let them cool slightly while you make the topping.
6.In a small bowl add the yogurt, honey, lemon zest, and almond extract. Whisk until combined and add a big dollop to the top of the baked pears
7.Serve warm! The most delicious healthy dessert ever.
