How To Make Spritz Cookies
Spritz cookies are a favourite around my house for the holidays.These are so easy to make. You will need a cookie press for this recipe. If you have never tried spritz cookie, they are a buttery short bread style of a cookie. It isn't the holidays around my house without these.
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cream cheese | 3 Ounce | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Almond extract | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 Tablespoon |
Directions
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.
MAKING:
2.Thoroughly cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract' beat well.
3.Sift together flour and baking powder; add gradually to creamed mixture. 4.Mixing to smooth dough. Do not chill. Force dough through cookie press onto and ungreased cookie sheet.
5.Bake for 10 minutes.
