Amritsari Kulcha - Perfect Crispy Layered Aloo Naan In Tawa

In this video, let's make Perfect Amritsari Aloo Kulcha Recipe, in a tawa. This kulcha is pretty different from what's made across homes in India, as it is layered with butter/ghee like a puff pastry and cooked in low heat until golden crispy.


For dough:
Maida 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Baking powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Sugar 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Butter/Ghee 10 Gram
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (to make dough)
For filling:
Boiled potatoes 6
Onion 1 , chopped finely
Coriander seeds 1/2 Teaspoon , crush
Peppercorn 1/2 Teaspoon , crush
Green chilli 1 Large
Ginger 7 Gram (1 inch)
Coriander leaves 2 Tablespoon , chop
Kasoori methi 1/2 Teaspoon
Black salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Chopped ginger 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Amchoor powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Maida 3 Tablespoon (dry)
To make kulcha:
Dry flour 4 Tablespoon (For dusting)
Butter 3 Tablespoon (as required)
