Patra Nu Cutlet - Parsi Style Veg Cutlets - Veg Snack Recipes

Unwrap the delicious flavours of vegetarian version of a much loved Parsi dish, which is cooked in traditional manner- Patra Nu Cutlet.


Boiled potatoes 150 Gram
Boiled green peas 30 Gram
Fresh coconut 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Fresh coriander leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Garlic 8 Clove (40 gm)
Roasted chana dal 3 Teaspoon
Cumin seeds 3 Teaspoon
Green chillies 4
Whole garam masala 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Lemon juice 4 Tablespoon
Banana leaves 4
Refined oil 4 Tablespoon



1.Peel and grate the boiled potatoes.

2.Mash the boiled green peas.

3.Add potatoes, peas and the spices in a blender and blend it into a paste.

4.Now take the mixture and place it on the banana leaf and fold it.

5.Heat a pan with little oil and place the banana leaves on it.

6.Once the leaf changes colour, the cutlet is ready, that is 3-5 minutes.


7.Serve with some chopped onion, and lemon wedges.
