One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is DEFINITELY the leftovers! I always love trying new fun things with them and this year's recipe might be my favorite. It sounds bizarre but I promise you will love it. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Pumpkin puree | 2 Tablespoon
Dijon mustard | 2 Teaspoon
Sage leaves | 3 , finely chopped
Cheddar cheese slices | 6
Leftover turkey | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , slice
Bread slices | 2 ((good quality))
Butter | 1 Teaspoon |
MAKING:
1.In a skillet over medium heat melt the butter.
2.In a small bowl mix together the pumpkin puree, Dijon, and sage leaves until combined.
3.Spread the mixture onto 2 slices of bread.
4.Add the slices of cheese onto each side and top one with the turkey meat.
5.Top with the other sliced bread and put onto the preheated skillet.
6.Cook on one side until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, and flip over to do the same on the other side.
7.That's it! The easiest and very different Thanksgiving leftover sandwich that will be your new favorite!
SERVING:
8.Serve and enjoy!
