Tomatoes can be fun and interesting when it comes to rich soup married with wholesome food in bread boat soup, shahi jalfarezi and tomato dipped garlic vegetables.
|For bread boat soup:|
|Bun||3 ((kadak pav))|
|Baby spinach leaves||2|
|For shahi jalfrezi:|
|Bell pepper||3 , dice ((3 colours,diced 2cm squares))|
|Onion||1/2 Large , dice|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm) , chopped finely|
|Ginger||1/3 Teaspoon , chopped finely|
|Garam masala||1/3 Teaspoon|
|Chilli powder||1/3 Teaspoon|
|Shahi jeera||1/3 Teaspoon|
|For tomato dipped garlic vegetables:|
|Finely chopped garlic||2 Teaspoon|
|Blanched broccoli||200 Gram|
|Cauliflower||200 Gram , blanched|
Bread Boat Soup:
1.Sliced the top of the pav and keep it aside.
2.Make a hollow space in the centre to form a bowl like bread.
3.Place the spinach in the bread bowl and pour the soup into it.
4.Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic & ginger.
5.Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
6.Add garam masala, turmeric powder, chili powder and sauté for a minute.
7.Add peppers, salt and toss until they are slightly charred.
8.Add this to the soup.
9.Using the same pan temper some Shahi jeera using ghee and top the soup.
Tomato Dipped Garlic Vegetables:
10.Pan toss the vegetables, paneer in butter & garlic until its coated well and charred.
11.Place the tossed vegetables along with Soup with skewers to be dipped and consumed.
12.Serve and enjoy!
