Methi Puri With Pumpkin - Easy Indian Meal

Who is up for some Green Puris made of Methi Puree? Dont forget to eat it with some exceptionally tasty smashed pumpkin Indian style as an accompaniment.


For puri:
Flour 100 Gram
Methi 1 Cup (16 tbs) , pureed
Red chilli powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
For pumpkin smash: (indian style)
Pumpkin 1
Green tomato 2
Green chilli 2
Ginger garlic paste 1 Tablespoon
Dry red chilli 1
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 3 Tablespoon



For Puri:

1.Take Flour & mix it with methi puree.

2.Add red chilli powder,cumin powder & turmeric powder.

3.Knead a soft dough and keep for resting for about 15 minutes.


4.Roll into small size puri and fry till golden brown.

For Pumpkin Smash Indian Style:

5.Heat oil in a pan.

6.Add ginger garlic paste.

7.Add green tomatoes, green chilies & dry red chillies.

8.Add boiled pumkin and cook for some time.

9.Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder & cumin powder let it cook for a while.

10.Smash the vegetables in the pan.

11.Add & adjust salt as per requirement .


12.Server Hot with Methi Puris.
