Brisket Chili Recipe - How To Make Tasty Homemade Texas Chili

I show you how to make the best homemade chili using leftover smoked brisket.

Ingredients

Beef broth 32 Ounce
Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce
Serrano peppers/Jalapeno peppers 2
Chicken bouillon cubes 3
For 1st dump:
Chili powder 3 Tablespoon (Cowtown Light Chili Powder,Grand Prize Chili Powder,San Antonio Original Chili Powder)
Onion powder 2 Teaspoon
Cayenne powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
For 2nd dump:
Chili powder 3 Tablespoon (Dixon Medium Hot Ground Chili Powder,Cowtown Light Chili Powder)
Sazon goya 1 Packet
Cumin powder 2 Teaspoon
Garlic powder 2 Teaspoon
Terlingua dust 1 Teaspoon
Jalapeno powder 1/4 Teaspoon (green)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (or enough to adjust thickness to your liking)
Cubed smoked brisket 1 1/2 Pound (point)
For 3rd dump:
Chili powder 2 Tablespoon (Grand Prize Chili Powder,Cowtown Light Chili Powder)
Terlingua dust 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Cayenne powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Brown sugar 1/4 Teaspoon
Other ingredients:
Black beans 15 Ounce (optional)
Cornstarch/Masa 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING:

1.Add Beef Broth,tomato sauce,Serrano peppers and Chicken boullion cubes to a large dutch oven.

2.Bring mixture to a boil, and then add Cowtown Light Chili Powder,Grand Prize Chili Powder,San Antonio Original Chili Powder,Onion powder,Cayenne Pepper and salt.(1st dump)

3.Cook over medium low heat covered for 1 hour.

4.After 1 hour, you can remove the Serrano peppers and discard them.

5.Now add Dixon Medium Hot Ground Chili Powder,Cowtown Light Chili Powder, Sazon Goya,cumin powder,garlic powder, Terlingua Dust,Green Jalapeno powder, water (to adjust thickness to your liking) and cubed smoked brisket point.(2nd Dump)

6.Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

7.Add Grand Prize Chili Powder,Cowtown Light Chili Powder,Terlingua Dust,cumin powder,garlic powder,cayenne powder and brown sugar.(3rd Dump)

8.Cover and simmer 10-15 minutes.

9.Add Black Beans (optional).

10.Simmer another 5-10 minutes to warm the beans.

11.Taste chili and adjust salt and heat level if needed. If the chili is too thick, add more water. If the chili is too thin, mix 1 cornstarch or masa into water, then slowly add to the chili mixture to thicken it to your liking.
