Achari Paratha - Achari Aloo Paratha - Pickle Paratha - Quick Breakfast Recipe

Meals are incomplete without Parathas...piping hot, stuffed parathas with aam ka achaar served with butter, spicy pickle refreshing curd! Need we say more.


Wheat flour dough 3 Cup (48 tbs) (atta dough,should atleast make 6 dough balls)
Mango pickle 1 Cup (16 tbs) (aam ka achaar,,you can use any pickle of your choice)
Grated potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs) , boil (you can use any other vegetable of your choice)
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Amchur powder 1 Teaspoon
Chana masala 1 Teaspoon
Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 2 Teaspoon
Red chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Chopped green chillies 2 Teaspoon
Ghee 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Curd 1 Cup (16 tbs)



1.Make a regular parantha dough with wheat flour. Cover with a wet towel and keep it aside.


2.To make the stuffing take boiled & grated potatoes, add all dry spices, chopped green chillies, salt. Mix and keep aside.

3.Make a roti out of a dough ball. Smear some ghee and mango pickle (aam ka achaar) on it. Add the potato stuffing. Close the dough ball and make a full parantha.

4.Take some ghee and cook the paranthas.

5.Sprinkle red chilli powder & chaat masala on some curd.

6.Add a dollop of butter on hot parathas.


7.Serve with the spiced curd & mango pickle.
