Rajma Kebab - Veg Kebab - Vegetarian Starter - Snack

Rajma decides to attend a party! Mixed with some spicy ingredients it gets ready as kebabs to melt in your mouth.


Soaked rajma 2 Cup (32 tbs) (red kidney beans)
Spices 1 Tablespoon (whole dry)
Salt To Taste
Boiled potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Grated paneer 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Fried onion 2 Tablespoon , caramelize
Ginger garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Green chilli paste 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Garam masala 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Chaat masala 2 Teaspoon
Gram flour 2 Tablespoon (besan)
Onion rings 5
Green chutney 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Lemon 1
Oil 4 Tablespoon



1.In a bowl, add the boiled rajma, boiled potatoes, grated paneer, fried brown onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, green chutney, cumin powder, garam masala, chaat masala, turmeric powder, salt, gram flour (besan) and make a kebab dough.

2.Shape the dough into kebabs and grill them on a flat pan covered at a low temperature.


3.Serve with green chutney, onion rings & lemon wedges.


Chef's tip- Boil the soaked rajma in a cooker. Heat 1 tsp of oil and put an entire onion in it. Also add a pouch (muslin cloth) of dry spices. Add rajma and water and boil till absolutely cooked, such that you can squish it between your fingers (This will enhance the flavours).
