This deep south, Old-Fashioned sweet potato pie recipe gets an even deeper level of flavor by using roasted sweet potatoes, browned butter and a splash of citrus. Yall.this pie gave me everything I needed in my life last Thanksgiving and Ive been waiting to share it with you guys! It has such an incredible flavor and the texture is sooooo creamy, yet firm because I cant fool with no loose, watery pies. Minnie dont burn chicken! (Ok I know that has nothing to do with this pie but I just like randomly saying that line)

Oh and be sure to make my homemade buttery pie crust recipe to go with this pie ok? Promise? This is my FAVORITE pie crust! And you know what they say a pie is only as good as its crust! I actually dont know if they say that but I say it and its true. Make the crust Annie Mae!!
