Today I made Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake In Pressure Cooker. It was really fun. I didn't use eggs and butter. Even I did not use any special kitchen equipments like oven and hand beater. Just mix all the ingredients well and put in the cooker. Still this cake came out no nice, moist, soft and spongy.
You can use this cake as a base and top up with your icing of your choice, or else you can use it in many desserts like cake pops, trifle and etc.
|For dry ingredients|
|All pupose flour||1 1/3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (140 gm)|
|Powdered sugar||3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (110 gm)|
|Baking powder||1/2 Teaspoon (2 gm)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon (3 gm)|
|For wet ingredients|
|Milk||3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (150 ml)|
|Curd/Yoghurt||1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (50 ml)|
|Oil||1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (100 ml)|
|Vanilla essence||1/2 Teaspoon|
