Corn On The Cob 3 Ways - Cheesy Corn / Spicy Masala Corn / Khatta-Meetha Corn - Street Corn Recipes

Not one, not two but three Awesome WAYS to make our favourite corn- cheesy, khatta meetha Masala!

Ingredients

Full corns 3
Cheesy corn
Whole garlic 1
Cheese slices 3
Chilli flakes 1 Tablespoon ((as required))
Khatta meetha corn
Jaggery 2 Tablespoon
Tamarind paste 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Water 1 Tablespoon
Black salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon
Masala corn
Roasted fennel powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Aamchur powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Chilli powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Lemon 1
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped roasted garlic 1/2 Tablespoon
Finely chopped coriander 1 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING:

For Cheesey Corn:

1.On hot grill pan or plain pan, char-grill the corn.

2.By the time the corn is grilled, by the side roast half cut whole garlic until its golden brown in colour.

3.Once the corn is grilled, rub the roasted side of whole garlic on the corn.

4.Now place the cheese slices on the cob and let it stay on it before serving, so that the hot cob will make the cheese soft and coat it.

For Masala Corn:

5.On hot grill pan or plain pan, char-grill the corn.

6.Mix all the dry masalas and salt together.

7.Once the corn is grilled, rub the masala mix on the hot corn, using half cut lemon.

8.Then rub lay the butter on it.

9.Finally top with coriander and roasted garlic.

For Khatta-meetha Corn:

10.In a pan, add the tamarind paste and jaggery.

11.Cook until the jaggery melts.

12.Then add the chili powder and cumin, bring to a boil.

13.Season with black salt.

14.Either use it immediately or save it in a jar.

15.On hot grill pan or plain pan, char-grill the corn.

16.Once the corn is grilled, coat it with the tamarind mix.

17.Top with some white sesame seeds.

SERVING:
