Chocolate Modak - How To Make Modak - Ganesh Chaturthi Special

Last few days to make modaks for gannu, try out these chocolate modaks for this festive season!


Milk 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Condensed milk 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Chocolate 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (cooking)
Digestive biscuit crumbs 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Pistachios 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chop
White choco chips 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (as required)
Ghee 1 Tablespoon (as required)



1.In a pan, add milk, condensed milk and cooking chocolate.

2. Keep stirring on medium heat

3.Once the chocolate melts it will be smooth and shiny (Chocolate mix).

4.In a bowl, add chocolate mixture, biscuit crumbs, pistachio and mix well.

5.Keep it aside to lower the temperature to work on it.

6.Apply ghee to your hands and the mould.

7.Make balls out of the chocolate mixture with some white Choco chips in the centre.

8.Shape the balls in the Modak mould.


9.Serve them with sprinkle of some pistachios.
