Farsan Ke Ladoo (Laddu) - How To Make Gujarati Farsan Laddu - Easy Tea Time Snack

When do we ever need a reason to snack on some ladoo and Farsan. So we thought to combine these for you, for a perfect evening snack!


Water 4 Tablespoon
Grated jaggery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Elaichi powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Mixed farsaan 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Roasted chana dal 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



1.In a pan add the jaggery and water and mix till the jaggery dissolves.

2.Pour the jaggery through a sieve and collect it in another pan.

3.Add the elaichi powder to this mix and heat again.

4.Keep stirring till the jaggery reaches a string like consistency.

5.To test this put a few drops of jaggery in a bowl of water and if the jaggery does not dissolve it has reached the right consistency.

6.Pour this on top of the mixed farsan and add the chana dal.

7.Using a spatula mix it the farsan well.

8.Wet your hands and make the ladoos when it is still hot.


9.Store it and serve whenever required.
