How To Make Homemade Dill Pickles (Easy Refrigerator Recipe)

Making refrigerator dill pickles is so fun and easy. This recipe produces a mild dill pickle that my little boys love! Feel free to increase the vinegar and salt if youre going for super strong pickle like in the stores. These dill pickles taste so fresh and full of flavor! It really is hard to not eat them back to back. The flavors get stronger as it sits in the fridge but they are ready to eat within 24-48 hours. (I usually wait for 48)

Ive put some add-in suggestions on my blog in case you want to play around with other ingredients. If you like spicy pickles red pepper flakes and jalapeno is great in these!

Water 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Distilled white vinegar 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (5%)
Kosher sea salt 2 Tablespoon
Granulated sugar 2 Tablespoon
Pickling cucumbers 2 Pound (like Kirby)
Fresh dill weed sprig 24
Garlic 5 Clove (25 gm)
Peppercorn 1 Tablespoon (optional)
