For marinade: | ||
Rice vinegar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Hoisin | 3 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 3 Tablespoon | |
Garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm) , mince (large)
Peeled ginger piece | 1 Inch , grated
Red pepper flakes | 1/4 Teaspoon
For kabobs: | ||
Plums | 4 , quartered | |
Pork tenderloin | 1 1/2 Pound , dice
Red onion | 1 , quartered (separated)
Chopped cilantro | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY:
1.Preheat your grill pan on high heat.
MAKING:
2.In a bowl combine the rice vinegar, soy sauce, hoisin, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour into a large ziplock bag.
3.To the bag add the pork and plums.
4.Let them marinate for at least one hour or overnight.
5.30 minutes prior to grilling make sure to soak your skewers (only if they're bamboo!) in water to prevent them from burning.
6.Skewer a piece of pork, then a piece of plum, then red onion. Keep repeating until you're done with the skewer. You can have as much or as little as you'd like on there.
7.Lightly grease your grill or grill pan and add the kabobs.
8.Let them grill on each side until the pork isn't pink in the middle, about 3-5 minutes on each side.
SERVING:
9.Serve and enjoy!
