Crispy Fried Cauliflower

Crispy Fried Cauliflower served with salsa is an experience perfect for snack lovers. Parboiled florets of cauliflower, coated with a plain flour batter and rolled in bread crumbs are deep-fried to produce a crunchy snack that is soft and succulent inside. Ingredients

Cauliflower florets 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Plain flour 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) ((maida))
Corn flour 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Breadcrumb 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((for rolling))
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) ((For deep frying))
For grinding:
Roughly chopped onions 1/2 Gallon
Chopped green chili 1/2 Tablespoon
Chopped ginger 1 Teaspoon ((adrak))
Salt To Taste

Directions

Making:

1. Parboil the cauliflower florets in salted water. Drain well and keep aside.

2. Combine the plain flour, cornflour, prepared the paste and salt in a deep bowl along with approx. 1 cup of water and mix well to make a thick batter.

3. Dip the cauliflower florets one by one in the batter and roll in the bread crumbs till they are evenly coated from all the sides.

4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry a few at time till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.

SERVING:

5. Serve immediately with salsa.
