Southern Blackberry Cobbler

Buttery, biscuity crust and sweet, syrup blackberries makes up this delicious, southern blackberry cobbler! And YES its a cobbler (thats to my debating southern folks). I love how fast fresh fruit cobblers come together and blackberry is def. one of my favorites. Its so comforting and rustic. The perfect ending to any meal! Dont forget the vanilla ice cream!


Fresh blackberries 3 1/2 Cup (56 tbs)
Sugar 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) ((divided))
Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Zest 1/2 Teaspoon ((optional))
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
All purpose flour
Baking powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
