Betty demonstrates how to make Zesty Marinated Mushrooms. These are fresh sliced mushrooms, covered with a flavorful oil and vinegar sauce, and chilled before serving.
|Fresh mushrooms||1 Pound|
|Vegetable oil||2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|White vinegar||1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Ground black pepper||1/4 Teaspoon|
|Dried parsley flakes||To Taste|
|Dried dill weed||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
1. Wash mushroom slices and pat dry with paper towel.
2. Place mushroom slices in a large bowl or suitable jar.
3. Pour each of the remaining ingredients over the top of the mushrooms. Stir well.
4. Marinate at least 8 hours, stirring occasionally. Keep in the refrigerator (covered) for about 4 days.
5. Serve and Enjoy!
