Chicken Pot Pie is comfort food as its best. This is one of my younger sons favorites and he had been asking for this for weeks. The combination of Chicken chunks with veggies like carrots and celery, flavored with cumin paprika and studded with sun dried tomatoes in a creamy mushroom gravy against the pie dough crust makes you feel all warm as fuzzy.


Cold butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , grated ((stick))
All purpose flour 10 Ounce ((283g))
Salt To Taste
Cold water 120 Milliliter
Diced onions 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chicken breast 1 ((approx. 1 cup))
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Smoked paprika 1 Teaspoon
Sliced mushrooms 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Diced celery 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Diced carrot 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sundried tomatoes 2 Tablespoon
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Butter 4 Tablespoon
Flour 4 Tablespoon
Chicken stock 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Cream 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
