Homemade Oatmeal Bar With Roasted Rhubarb

The first fruit of spring is here: Rhubarb! Though technically a vegetable, it has long been regarded as the first sign of something sweet after a long and cold winter. Roasted Rhubarb Oatmeal Bars are the perfect combination of tart and sweet flavor.


For the rhubarb:
Rhubarb 400 Gram , chop (into 2 inch lengths)
Soft brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
For the bar
Oats 225 Gram (2 cups)
Soft brown sugar 50 Gram (1/4 cup)
Butter 150 Pound (2/3 cup)
Golden syrup 2 Tablespoon
