Mussels are going to get some Thai Treatment with in this delicious recipe of Thai Green Curry Mussels. These shells are going to cook up in a delicious Thai Green Paste and they will open up with the heat and inherit those unique Thai flavors!
Mussels | 2 Pound , cleaned | |
Coconut oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Sliced shallots | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Thai red chillies | 4 | |
Green curry paste | 4 Tablespoon | |
Fish sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Coconut milk | 200 Milliliter | |
Thai basil leaves | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
MAKING:
1.In a skillet, heat coconut oil and saute shallots and red chillies in it.
2.Add Thai green curry paste, fish sauce and mix well.
3.Add mussels and stir well. Cook until mussels start to open up or for 10-15 minutes.
4.Add coconut milk and more fish sauce if desired.
5.Add Thai basil leaves.
